Restaurant "Le Saint-Sat"
Aveyron's first "Bistrot de pays" restaurant, Saint Sat is housed in a stone building in St-Saturnin-de-Lenne. Authentic cuisine featuring local produce and Aveyron specialities. Shaded terrace and guinguette atmosphere.
Housed in a pretty Causse stone building, Le Saint sat offers authentic, local bistro cuisine. Here, most of the produce, especially the 100% Aveyron meat, comes from short circuits. The team is keen to showcase local produce and the know-how of local producers and market gardeners. Inside, everything is a nod to local craftsmanship, from the table legs made by local wrought-iron artisans, to the chestnut trays from Pomayrols, the village where Amarian was born. Paintings by an artist friend grace the walls of the two dining rooms, one of which is very cosy, with solid oak family tables, ochre walls and velvet armchairs.
In summer, the terrace, shaded by parasols and lime trees and adorned with guinguette garlands, plunges you into a relaxed, festive atmosphere.
In the kitchen, the emphasis is on quality meats, whether grilled or simmered, with the emphasis on gourmet, family-style cooking. Boards to share with charcuterie and local cheese for aperitifs delight guests. For something a little sweeter, we offer homemade desserts such as tiramisu, tarte tatin, chocolate mousse, baba au rhum and many others.
On the beverage side, you'll discover Aveyron's nectars: walnut and peach wines, ratafias, homemade lemonades and Frênette, an organic sparkling drink made from ash leaves. You can also take advantage of an attractive wine list compiled with the help of enthusiastic wine merchants.
Le Saint Sat is very involved in village life, and regularly organizes friendly events: concerts, raclette-themed evenings, matches... The bistro also offers top-of-the-range menus for special occasions. With a guinguette feel, the young, lively team has plenty of culinary surprises in store for you, as well as a warm welcome!
