La Coupette

Organic Aveyron wines. Hand-harvested, indigenous yeasts, traditional vinification, red, white and rosé wines. Tasting at the estate.

THE DOMAINE :

Domaine La Coupette is located in the commune of Nauviale in Aveyron. We work several parcels in the communes of Marcillac, Nauviale and Valady, with Fer-servadou, Jurançon Noir and Clairette as our main grape varieties. The entire estate is certified organic.

From our own grapes alone - and depending on the year - we produce a primeur, several reds, a rosé and a white. Ratafia, vin de noix and fine will soon complete our range.

In the cellar, we work in a gravity-fed, bioclimatic cellar adjoining the house's old cellars, where the wines are still matured. Depending on the cuvée, the wine passes through stainless steel vats, French oak barrels or stoneware amphorae...

With no chemicals, oenological aids or aromatic yeast, vinification, ageing and bottling are designed to be as natural and resilient as possible, leaving the way open for a true expression of our terroirs. The quality of the harvest is therefore paramount, and our attention is constantly focused on ensuring that the raw material is beyond reproach.

We work exclusively with indigenous yeasts (yeasts naturally present on the grapes and in the cellar), our wines are unfiltered and contain little or no sulfites.

All this enables us to proudly present you with singular, healthy and lively wines, for, we hope, shared pleasure.
