Screening of the western "Secret Canyon", a medium-length film shot in the Sorgue valley and Larzac in the summer of 2025.
The film team is made up of friends and cousins from Brittany and Aveyron. Fans of amateur theater and cinema, they took up the whimsical challenge of making a film in a week, with rudimentary means.
The story takes place in 1860 on the Kansas-Missouri border. Victim of a robbery, Martha embarks on a journey of initiation with her friend Susan. They embark on a road-trip of rivers, horses and lost trails. What secrets will they discover? What encounters will forge their destinies? An ode to friendship, the beauty of nature and a cartoon America.
The film?s crew will be on hand for a friendly chat after the screening.
Written and directed by Nicolas Bonnafé, Elisa Rozven and the troupe "Les Tréteaux de la Bertoune". With Magali Kerneuve and Soazing Dumas.
