This EDF-operated site comprises a power station and dam built between 1945 and 1950. Inside, an information area has been set up to welcome the public and help them discover the history and advantages of hydroelectricity in a fun, interactive way. By looking at the engine room or listening to the turbines start up, visitors can understand how these structures work and the role that hydropower, the leading renewable energy, plays in the energy transition and in the fight against global warming.
