Construction insolite
A singular open-air work and a collective project that has been growing without plans for 20 years !
he idea to build the Unusual Construction of Saint-Sever was born in 2003.
The project was twofold:
- Erect a solid and whimsical architectural work, in the tradition of Gaudí, Facteur Cheval and all the forgotten creators who felt legitimate to beautify their environment.
- Offer participants of all ages and without any prior knowledge a playground; a place of expression, creation, learning and finally building the heritage of tomorrow.
La Construction Insolite is open to individual or group visits (contact the association) all year round. Entry is free, but there is a safe at the entrance for visitors who wish to support the project.
The place remains a permanent construction site; for safety reasons, visits are prohibited at night and children must be accompanied.
