Lulled by the gentle melody of chirping birds, whinnying horses and rustling trees, Daniel and Claudie open the doors to their estate, set in the heart of nature with a breathtaking view over the surrounding countryside, a typical Aveyron mansion with its stone walls and dovecote, framed by its two large barns, one of which dates back to 1801, in an enchanting and particularly tranquil setting of 18 hectares of meadows and woods. Here you'll find authenticity and serenity, with the charm of yesteryear as if time had stood still....
We have renovated the entire property, house and barns, essentially by ourselves, respecting the original features but adding comfort through environmentally-friendly renovation using natural insulation materials. It took my husband and I ten years of courage and tenacity to restore this estate to its former glory. The barn boasts 4 large, bright and charming bedrooms, a dining room in the barn's former stable, a shared library area for relaxing in peace and quiet, a decorating boutique and a wellness area to complete your stay.
