Bernard welcomes you to his woodturning workshop in the heart of the village of Estaing to explore his creations and discuss them with him.
Bernard has always had a true passion for woodworking. What began as a simple hobby has, over the years, evolved into a rich and varied body of expertise. Curious and always eager to learn, he has explored many disciplines: cabinetmaking, instrument making, woodturning, and many other techniques that have allowed him to constantly expand his skills.
His creations include ukuleles, guitars, and sculptures—the result of meticulous work that blends precision, patience, and a constant pursuit of perfection. For Bernard, every project is an opportunity to learn something new and to take on a technical or creative challenge.
After a career in aerospace, he now devotes most of his time to this passion that has always driven him. Beyond the joy of creating, he particularly enjoys human interaction, sharing his experience, and passing on his knowledge. He is currently particularly interested in woodturning, and you’ll likely see him hard at work on his lathe as you pass by his workshop.
Works of art, everyday objects, repairs, custom creations, or children’s toys: Bernard loves to explore all these worlds and bring to life unique or useful pieces, always crafted with the same care and respect for the material. Each creation reflects his taste for a job well done and his commitment to the authenticity of craftsmanship.
